Saying Goodbye to 2012
In 2012 so many things happened, and so many things did not happen. Some say the country is in turmoil, and in a stagnant state. Others say it has never been better, although they cannot say what or why. So without diverging into a political direction and looking at the year with a narrow focus, I prefer a broader brush stroke.
Here is a photo we could say for the sake of example represents the year 2012, when it was first starting. Call it the baby new year, or in this case a miniature goat. It is all fuzzy, and not very certain about what it will do. By the time it is over, it has eaten your important papers in your office, much like the tax man eats your money or say the time gets eaten on your calendar.
Then as the year progresses, we have all kinds of fun now that we are used to the goat. It kind of grows on you, and you grow comfortable with it. Then, before you know it, it is time to send it away. It has to go, and we have to let it go. So try to remember all the things this past year that were good, and forget all the things that were bad. Move on, and enjoy the new year whatever it may bring.
