Land Contract Homes

The search for Land Contract Homes is far and wide for prospective home buyers when they are struggling with a troubled credit history. This subject by far generates the most inquiries for me as a Realtor, as there are so many people working through tough times right now. I recently authored an eBook available on Amazon in Kindle format entitled: Understanding Land Contract Homes: In Pursuit of the American Dream which covers the subject from both the buyer and seller perspective regarding Land Contracts.

Understanding Land Contract Homes: In Pursuit of the American DreamLand Contract Homes are sometimes scarce in many markets, as the current interest rates on conventional lending is so low right now.  Most sellers with a home have a mortgage, and therefore are not always willing or able to consider a Land Contract sale as an option. So this book offers insight in how to seek out homes that might fit the profile of a Land Contract deal, in a market where they are uncommon.

It does require some proactive measures on the part of the buyer.  Working with a Realtor helps a lot in these matters.  However, also having an understanding on how the entire process works is essential in being able to be successful in your pursuit.  So Understanding Land Contract Homes: In Pursuit of the American Dream is a tool you can use to get that edge on the marketplace you live in and find a Land Contract home sale that no other buyer knows about, giving you the edge.  When you can be the first one to buy something, and narrow the competition for that home, it helps.  Especially in a market where there are so many other buyers seeking the same information.

Land Contracts at their basic core are one of the oldest forms of financing in the U.S., as the arms length real estate contract from a personal seller to buyer predates the present day banking institutions. It of course has evolved over the years, and there is a lot of information to learn about that can make it a safe transaction for both parties.  This information I have sought to impart in this book.
