Architecture of Nashville, Michigan

I sometimes drive to other local communities around Battle Creek to take photos of homes for clients. A few weeks ago I was in Nashville, Michigan which is about a 30 minute drive North of Battle Creek up M-66 Hwy.  This town consists of roughly 1600 residents according to the recent Census, and historically it was founded as a Mill town in the mid-1800’s.  By the 1920’s it had become a major railroad stop at the halfway point between Grand Rapids and Jackson, Michigan.  Today it is mostly a farming community, and a lot of residents commute to other areas.

There are some very nice homes in good condition in this area, and many display some very nice architecture.  I took a few photos as I was driving around in my recent visit, and thought I would share these here.
